God Has Many Names: An Interfaith Shirt for Curious, Open Hearts
GOD(DESS) above hundreds of names for the divine, from Allah to Wakan Tanka: an interfaith design on tees, hoodies, mugs and totes.
Some people pray to Allah, some to Yahweh, some to Waheguru or the Great Spirit. Some speak of Brahman, Buddha Nature or simply the Ground of Being, and some aren’t sure what to call it at all. God Has Many Names is our newest Spirituali-Tee design, and it puts all of those words side by side: GOD(DESS) in bold capitals, above a dense block of hundreds of names for the divine from traditions all over the world.
It isn’t a debate on a T-shirt. It is closer to a library shelf, or a long table where everyone has a seat. The design also comes on the full collection, from a classic crewneck tee to a mug and a tote.

Why this phrase
Every faith tradition has had to wrestle with the same problem: how do you name something bigger than language? The answers are beautiful in their variety. The Hebrew Bible offers Elohim and El Shaddai; Islam has its ninety-nine names, from Ar-Rahman (the Merciful) to Al-Wadud (the Loving); Sikhism speaks of Akal Purakh, the Timeless Being; Lakota tradition of Wakan Tanka, the Great Mystery. Philosophers added the Absolute, the First Cause, the Infinite Intelligence.
The brackets in GOD(DESS) are a small, deliberate nudge: the sacred has been imagined as Father, as Mother, and as beyond both. Reading the list is a quiet exercise in humility. Whatever name you grew up with, you’ll find it here, standing next to someone else’s. That’s the whole message: many names, one longing.
Ways to wear it
- Everyday: the unisex crewneck tee is the easy starting point; the premium V-neck layers neatly under a cardigan or jacket.
- A closer cut: the men’s fitted tee sits nearer the body and keeps the long block of names flat and readable.
- Cool days: the unisex hoodie, the softer premium hoodie and the crewneck sweatshirt are made for long walks and longer conversations.
- Warm days and practice: the tank top is light enough for the yoga mat or a summer festival.
- Beyond clothing: a mug for slow mornings and a long-handled cotton tote for the library or the market.

Gift ideas
- For the interfaith friend: the one who goes to a church concert, a temple festival and a meditation retreat in the same month. A hoodie or sweatshirt fits them perfectly.
- For the student of religion or philosophy: a tee they can wear to seminars that starts conversations before they’ve said a word.
- For the spiritual-but-not-religious: the mug, for the person who prefers questions to answers.
- For new parents in a mixed-faith family: the baby bodysuit, toddler tee or kids hoodie, a gentle way of saying every tradition in the family is welcome.
Made to order, on purpose
Every God Has Many Names piece is printed on demand when you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer, so we don’t overproduce, and your shirt is made just for you. It takes a few extra days, and we think that’s a fair trade for wasting less.
Caring for your print
Wash your garment inside out on a cool, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or hang it to dry, and don’t iron directly on the print, so the fine lettering in the names block stays crisp. Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. One honest note: on the Natural tote the white lettering turns transparent and only its shadow shows, so pick another tote colour if you want the names to stand out.
